• Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider supplies basic profile details such as your email address, name, and the sign-in method you chose (Google, Apple, GitHub, or email).
• Usage data. We track app activity tied to your account — for example, the number of scans you have used, your subscription status, and referral activity — so the service works correctly.
• Content you provide. Messages you post in community chat rooms, direct messages, and questions you ask the AI are processed to deliver those features. If you choose to share a trade idea using a share link, the contents of that trade become publicly viewable by anyone who has the link.
• Payment information. Purchases are handled by our payment processors (Stripe on the web and Apple on iOS). We do not store your full card number or banking details; we receive only a confirmation of your subscription status.
• Technical data. Standard server logs may include IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the app and its features.
• Authenticate your account and enforce free-scan limits and subscription access.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Operate community features such as chat rooms and direct messaging.
• Generate AI trade ideas by sending your scan inputs (such as ticker and risk level) to our AI provider.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

SECTION 03

Third-Party Services

To operate the service, we share limited data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

• Authentication (Clerk) — manages secure sign-in.
• AI analysis (Anthropic / Claude) — receives your scan inputs to generate trade ideas and answer questions.
• Market data (Yahoo Finance, Tradier) — supplies quotes and options chains.
• Payments (Stripe, Apple) — process subscriptions.

Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary for these services to function.

SECTION 04

Data Retention & Security

Your account information is stored in a secure database and retained for as long as your account is active. Some community chat history is kept only temporarily and is not stored long-term. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices & Rights

You can:

• Access or update your account information at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.
• Manage or cancel your subscription through Stripe (web) or your Apple account settings (iOS).

AI Options Market is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
